Error 48: Waiting for OFK Reed Switch

The saw is trying to retract or extend the kickoff arm but the corresponding reed switch is not coming on.

What to do now

Wait for at least 30 seconds for the OFK reed switch to turn on, otherwise stop the saw by holding down the STOP button.

What to do next

  1. Check for a mechanical blockage that is preventing the kickoff arm from moving as expected (e.g. a block of wood, a full outfeed table, etc.).
  2. Check that the reed switch has not moved and is in the correct position.
